Barkley Blah!

The first time I started a blog, it was because I had something to say, hence the turningsixty blog was born. Then I started the MyBookBlog, an ongoing project to help me write 'The Book'.
Now, this one looks like being a "Sometimes Journal", definitely a reflection of the current pace of my life.

in the backyard..

stakebird

I've been puzzling over why the kangaroo paw flower stems have been breaking - having used very thin flexible bamboo stakes to hold them up and there has never been a problem in the past. But this year, I went down to put in a few more stakes, and found the stems bent and broken.

Check out the look on it's face..
priceless..

Hi Robyn.. thankyou.

Yes, I've heard from the girls and they report that they haven't looked back since opening night, it's all good, very very good.. they tell me.

Wonderful colour in your photography!! Congratulations on your daughters continued success with the restaurant.

How come those birds residing in your backyard keep falling off their roosts or breaking them - are you feeding the plants or your birds an intoxicating mixture?

Best wishes
