I pray daily that God will forgive me for that blindness and for the horror which befell truly innocent people because of my foolishness.
There have been so many lost souls, and I curse myself for my weakness and the fear which has made me unable to stop this vile corruption even after I become aware of it. These journals are my frail attempt to redeem my soul, and I beseech my Lord endlessly that they do not fall into the wrong hands."

I was lucky, Norvona, to get the time to settle in and have a good read through all of the volumes, not quite non-stop but almost; and you are right, your characters certainly 'came alive' for me. The journal style and the period writing looks spot-on to me... I really enjoyed it and it looks to me like you had a good time writing it too!
