adding to the blogroll...

and now comes the good bit - thanks to that last gruelling stint - for the NEXT 8 days, I work only one, and that's next Tuesday!

First on the agenda, lots of additions waiting to go on my blogroll, a few that should have been there ages ago, a few that are there, that I haven't introduced properly, and some lovely new finds that I know I am going to enjoy...

Welcome everybody...

and from Anni's site I followed a link to the NEW over50's blogroll,
a sign-yourself in thing - easy to do, and later on today we should see the results deep down on my left sidebar... if you like the idea, give them a helping hand to get started and add your link... (if you are over 50, of course..)

AUSTRALIA

dimooreMy good friend Diane has started a MySpace. Go Di!
We first became friends when we worked together as trainers, Di has moved since to Melbourne and a new job, new life, new boyfriend... We have a surprising lot in common, given that we are twenty years apart - Di turning 40 as I was turning sixty led to some very interesting (and entertaining) conversations.

you can visit Di from here, tell her Della says hello...

There is a good discussion going on over at Judith's place, Not Dead Yet about what turns us on.
I quote from Judith:

"Why are we able to give ourselves permission only when we are too old to act upon it? God! that stomach – I could have buried my face in it. I hope he couldn’t see the yearning in my eyes, fleeting as it was. It makes me weep as I write……

Nice one, Judith!

Hi Robyn,
I know - lucky me - except that every day I am at home, makes me more aware how much I love to be here...

Lee, try that link again - I'd left out the http:// bit, it looks like it's working now, thanks.

Thanks for the link Della... it also made me update my links and add you and a few others. I tend to neglect that, sigh.

So with time off we can expect more posts right? lol.. Enjoy your time off!

Hi deslily, yep, that's right, I do intend to spend some time in here this week, I've still got pics to blog from Calurla, and a few other things on my mind.

The problem (not really a problem) is that I have started doing some reading, and I always get caught up, I've just found two you-beaut garden blogs I found very hard-to-leave.

Steve - not true - but thank you for the kind words...

Sandy, that's exactly it - I do visit my blogroll, and then I follow links that grab my attention, so it's an ongoing exercise to keep the blogroll current - I am planning to add names, as I see some others do - I think it will be better, about to start researching some different backgrounds and fonts for the new list. Thanks for visiting...
