BIG THINGS have always fascinated me... especially the culture of creating these monstrous structures of local features. This one, the Big Pineapple is on the Sunshine Coast in South East Queensland..
well, okay, this post updated on my bloglines subscription - so I have to guess that it's WORKING! hoorah... that wasn't too bad at all.
Now to add all the blogs I read, and put a link somewhere in here, I suppose. I wonder if all the blog readers use the same atom.xml file. Reckon I'll find out soon enough..
I have to go and finish dinner and eat soon though, I am making slow-cook lamb and lentil curry and the smells are really making me hungry!
You seem to have it Della, it came up on my bloglines, if there is more than one feed check that it is up to date by previewing it and pick the best one.
Hi Della. One year I had heaps of overseas visitors and they all wanted to go and see the Big Pineapple...I went there about five times in as many months. I haven't been since. Actually I thought it had closed down.
wow - now I have 'feeds' all over the place. Somehow I have managed to add a blog 'feed' that appears in my IE7 favourites folder. It's the only one there so it is not picking it up from my bloglines links. More fun to be had yet!
Hi puss- I have more BIG photos - being a Queenslander, the pineapple is my first memory, I have actual photos taken many many years ago somewhere stored away.
Hi, Della, Saw your name in The Ageless Project and thought I should drop by to say hello. You have a very handsome family. That big pineapple looks interesting. Hope I will have the chance to see it. See you again. Princess
What a funny creation, lol ! Thanks for your comment on my Blog music, your story about Christmas music was great. You know from the about 25 comments I have got on this post, only two had music on their blogs and told me they would put the thing on the top of the sidebar and make the music low(!) I think they don't even realize what they are doing because they never had a look on their blog from another computer. They really thought they could settle the sound for us ! This blogmusic sometimes really can harm ! One had troubles with her boss because he just came in when she had opened a blog with music ! He was not very happy ! Another had her baby woken up which cried then for hours, and even in a hospital room it happened ! I always forget to turn off my loudspeakers !
Hi Dellab Nice pictures in your previous post of your family. I remember driving into Ballina; seeing the Big Red Prawn and to Coffs to see the Big Banana proudly boasting it’s the biggest in the world. I wonder how many more Big’s.....there are! And I like reading about how the dreaming views our big landscape. The imaginative stories about Creation and the first sunrise, the whispering of the first birds, the big bush fires burning under the mighty Southern Cross, the big white clouds and the big red rock that make up the marvellous landscape.

See you again.
Princess
progress on bloglines.
This is good, I am really enjoying learning about this, thanks to Val, and Peter for the momentum to investigate.
Although I seem to have lost access to my own comments at the moment. Hopefully, it will come back soon and I can get to post.
I can post on other's comments though - I am hoping it doesn't have anything to do with the new bloglines code.
aha - looks like it's going to work this time!

Hi Princess and Baba - it's always a lovely surprise to see new visitors come in and say hello - I will be over to visit you both too, soon, thankyou.
Hi Gattina, yes, that was a good 'conversation' you had going there, lots of interest and ideas on the topic, thanks...
You're doing well, Della! Keep up the good work! ;)
