I am here somewhere...

This week has just flown by. Haven't posted for a week, so here is just a bit of levity to let you know I am still here.

The test at the bottom IS amazing - it got me... how do they do this?

I have a lot of reading to catch up with, see what everybody has been up to - so focus is on that for now, hope all are having a good weekend...

At the end of this message, you are asked a question.

Answer it immediately. Don't stop and think about it.

Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.

This is a fun "test"... AND kind of spooky at the same time!

just follow the instructions as quickly as possible.

Do not go to the next calculation before you have finished the previous one..

You do not need to write or remember the answers, just do it using your mind.

You'll be surprised.

START

How much is:

15 + 6

3 + 56

89 + 2

12 + 53

75 + 26

25 + 52

63 + 32

I know! Calculations are hard work, but it's! nearly over..

Come on, one more! ...

123 + 5

NOW

QUICK! THINK ABOUT A COLOR AND A TOOL!

Just say the first thing that pops into your mind.

and .... CLICK on COMMENTS to see the result...

You just thought about a red hammer, didn't you?

If this is not your answer, you are among 2% of people who have a different, if not abnormal, mind.

98% of the folks would answer a red hammer while doing this exercise.

If you do not believe this, pass it around and you'll see.

haha, told ya! beats me...

But, DesLily, you didn't tell us what you thought of - that'd be interesting, I reckon ...

son left to return to Sydney at 3 a.m. this morning, it was a really good visit, too short, he was stopping to meet a friend at Ballina for a surf - ah, the energy of the young...

Okay, so I'm just 2% "different." I came up with a blue hammer. Here's one for you. Quick. Choose a color. Now, quick, choose a number between 1 and 5. Did you say "red" and "three?" For fun with your friends, write the "answer" on a piece of paper, then ask for the choices. If your friend says "red and three" you can hand them the paper and watch their face. Works most of the time.

I'm different I came up with a yellow spanner. That's OK I am kind of weird anyway. My personality type is INTJ and only 4% of the world's population apparently is that and only 1% of that is female. Thanks for popping by my blog.

Yes, I have had that one before. If I remember rightly, I answered a blue ax, therefore I'm only half abnormal...lol!

Enjoyed the funnies, too!

Have a great week.

Hi Dellab

Theses tests are fun to do and to see the results; however I am afraid I belong firmly in the ranks of the Australian Sceptics Society.

I could imagine Red being very popular in Asia and it's probably the most salient color for most cultures, right behind Black and White but i think we are conditioned through advertising not to think of white. Yellow is also quite popular !!

I chose blue, which is my favourite colour and I thought about a hammer. But it didnt come to me immeadiately.

Val –go the mighty blues!!
Best wishes

I came up with a purple hammer but if that makes me abnormal that's ok with me...I've always heard that purple means happy or serene when it comes to a person's "aura", not that I believe in that. But as grouchy as I've been while taking some meds, maybe deep underneath I'm still a pussycat! Hahaha! OK...I'm going to have to do this on my blog and see what everyone comes up with. What a hoot!

Funny thing, I don't usually get the 'correct' answer to these sorts of things - but this time I did get the red hammer, and come to think of it - when did I last see a red hammer? or ever?

I think Lindsay is on the right track, perhaps red is the 'dominant' colour, and 'hammer' is the first thought-of tool.

Hi Della,
Crissy here, this is very not normal. I must be amongst the 2% of the people of different if not abnomal minds.

I thought of a green garden tool.
Funny that. Well its nice to be a little abnormal or not.... not sure about this one.
